FREESTANDING NON-PENETRATIVE ROOF EDGE
FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
FOR UNRESTRAINED ROOFS UP TO 5° SLOPE
Ensuring the safety of employees working on or gaining access via a flat roof is a legal requirement for employers.
This system is a proven method for roof edge protection and offers reliable safety without the need for a fixed guardrail.
The use of our system assists contractors and employers to meet the needs of Health and Safety laws and regulations.
When correctly installed according to the guidelines the system conforms to BS EN ISO 14122 Part 3 and BS EN ISO 13374:2004 regarding guardrails. It has been designed and tested to be used as both a permanent and temporary edge protection and is easily uninstalled and relocated as required.
This system can be installed by non-specialist workers
No requirement for specialist skills such as welding or tube bending!
We use a counterbalance weight made from 100% recycled rubber (patent pending), connected to a freestanding metal base by either a 1.0 or 1.2m length of 40NB tube. The base supports a 1.1m high 40NB upright which is connected to the 40NB cross rails by two cradle fittings. All fittings are made to BS EN ISO 1562:1997 and galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999.
There are three basic systems
ALL have been fully tested and approved by Lloyds British to:
