The client provided us with measurements – and left us to do the rest.

We went from initial drawings:


Trial assembled stair at our works in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire:

The two flight stair led to a main landing and to the main access floor.
The main access floor was set up 750mm above the sludge tank support floor.

Rising from the main floor was an additional stair leading to the motor access and maintenance platform along the full length of the structure (seen above at the very front).

Below is a concept we were asked to develop into a fully working 3D model.


It was well received by the client and work immediately began providing structural calculations and detailing for fabrication.
